Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the TripLink website and application (the "Service") operated by TripLink ("us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
1. Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
2. Subscriptions
Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a Subscription.
TripLink offers the following tiers:
- Free: Up to 10 trip members. All features included.
- Pro ($4.99/mo): Up to 50 trip members. All features included.
- Team ($9.99/mo): Unlimited trip members. All features included.
When an organizer subscribes to a paid plan, all members invited to their trips receive the same feature access at no additional cost.
3. SMS and WhatsApp Communications
By joining a trip on TripLink and providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS and WhatsApp messages related to your trip activity. These include voting reminders, expense updates, RSVP changes, trip deadline alerts, and daily summaries.
Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also manage notification preferences in your account settings.
Message frequency: Varies based on trip activity (typically 1-5 messages per day during active planning).
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier messaging rates apply. TripLink does not charge for sending notifications.
4. AI-Powered Features
TripLink provides an AI assistant to help with trip planning. AI-generated suggestions (activities, itineraries, packing lists) are provided as recommendations only. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content, including pricing, availability, and safety information. TripLink is not liable for decisions made based on AI recommendations.
5. Content
Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content"). You are responsible for the Content that you post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall TripLink, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
8. Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
